Collected, not minted.
They were never meant to look like coinage from a single mint, a single country, or a single moment in history.
Steel Imperial Coins were designed to feel like treasure accumulated over a lifetime — carried home from distant ports, won in old gaming houses and taverns, and kept from private games in faraway cities.
The four denominations deliberately differ in size, imagery, language, name and finish, giving each the character of coinage that might have come from a different place or time.
Even coins of the same design are not intended to appear perfectly identical. Subtle variations in patina, coloration and surface character evoke the irregularity of older coin-making methods, when every piece did not emerge looking precisely like the one before it.
They are not all different. They are deliberately not all exactly alike.
One intuitive hierarchy.
Four sizes. Four designs. Four names.
One intuitive hierarchy.
Size
The four playing coins measure 44, 42, 40, and 38 millimeters. The step down is visible at a glance and felt in the hand, so relative value reads instantly, while every coin still sits cleanly in a standard poker or blackjack chip tray.
Artwork / Emblem
Each denomination carries its own distinct face, in both the Royal and Legend editions. A second visual reference, unmistakable across the table, with no two denominations sharing a design.
Name
The names follow the hierarchy. The highest-value coin carries the longest name, and each denomination below it sheds a letter: CRESTAR, DRAVIK, TORIN, KETT.
Written in the languages of the journey.
A traveler gathering treasure across ports and gaming houses would bring home more than one tongue. The coins remember that. Each Royal denomination renders the old gambler's motto, fortune favors the brave, in a different language, while the Legend edition speaks Italian and the Dealer marker answers in French.

- Das Glück begünstigt die MutigenFortune favors the brave.

A runic-style inner band rings the Crestar coin as ornament. We leave it untranslated.
They were not made to remain perfect.
Variation in patina, coloration, surface character, and individual finishing is intentional. It is not a defect to be corrected. Coins of the same design are not intended to appear perfectly identical; the subtle differences between them are part of the treasure feeling, and they deepen the longer a set is held.
The more you play with them, the more character they acquire, and the more they become your own.
Handle them, play them, enjoy them. Character earned honestly at the table is not damage. It is the collection becoming yours.
Detailed on both sides.
The sculpted relief continues onto the reverse of every playing coin. The reverse designs are common to both the Royal and Legend editions.
Made to Be Played.
Built as a collectible. Designed as a gaming set.
The coins were made to be handled, stacked, wagered, and won. This is not a display piece that happens to resemble gaming equipment. It is gaming equipment, built to the weight and measure of the table.
Photographed in actual play, on the blackjack table.
